Clinton Concludes Fair With Livestock Sale LOCKHAVEN (Clinton Co.) The 21st Clinton County Fair concludes each year with the 4-H Livestock Sale. There are three firsts for this year. The animals were sold by the “head” instead of by the pound. Also listed were actual market prices for the bidders benefit. The buyback packers were HJ. Bierly Livestock of Mill Hall and Walter M. Dunlap & Sons of Lancaster. Also new this year are market goats. This project gives younger members an easy animal to handle. Goat meat has similar nutrient value to beef but some what leaner. The 23 goats weighing between 50-78 pounds sold between price range of $4OO-$6O.
