A26*LincMtw Firming, Saturday, October 2, 1993 New Yorker Is All-American Ayrshire Breeder, Exhibitor HARRISBURG Doug Evans of Georgetown, New York, last week fared well in the All- American Ayrshire Show held in Harrisbuig at the State Farm Show Complex. Evans waited off with banners naming him premier breeder and premier exhibitor of the show. Denis Descoteaux of Quebec served as judge. In addition to winning the ban ners, Evans also picked up cash and ribbons for first place summer yearling heifer, best three junior females, best S-year-old cow, best senior female bred and owned by exhibitor, reserve grand champion female, best three senior females, and best exhibitor’s herd. The grand champion female of the show was 4-year-old “Covey Farms CVR Rosetta,” exhibited by Michael Creek and Brandon Covey of Hagerstown, Maryland.
