Other winners in the FFA hog show were Matt Frey, Solanco FFA, lightweight champion: Jason Reifsnyder, Penn Manor FFA, medium weight champion; and Keith Frey, Penn Manor, light heavyweight champion. • In the 4-H hog show. Crystal Charles had the championra crossbred gilt from the light heavy weight division; Erie Charles had the lightweight champion; and Daryl Rineer had the heavyweight champion. In the 4-H steer show, Dale Livengood had the champion with a 1,276-pound crossbred. Only three steers were in the 4-H show. Larry Weaver, New Holland, was the judge. The combined 4-H and FFA steer show, with only a total of seven head, was the smallest show in memory. State Ag Secretary Boyd Wolff and Mrs. Wolff visited the Lampe ter Fair and said that the Pennsyl vania Department of Agriculture works with 112 fairs across the state. Wolff said he enjoys visiting the fairs, and it gives him the opportunity to see Pennsylvania’s fine produce and meet the many nice people in agriculture. P. J.
