Texas Hospitality Cake Put in large mixing bowl: 2 cups sugar . 2 cups flour Bring to a boil and pour over sugar and flour 1 cup water 2 sticks margarine 4 tablespoons Hershey Cocoa Beat well and add: 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon baking soda 'A teaspoon cinnamon 'A teaspoon baking powder Dash of salt 'A cup buttermilk Beat well and pour into greased and floured layer pans. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cake Icing 1 cup milk 5 tablespoons flour Cook over medium heat (stir ring constantly) until thick. Remove from heat and cool. Add: 1 cup sugar A cup shortening 'A cup margarine 1 teaspoon .vanilla Beat with mixer until fluffy and you are certain sugar is complete ly dissolved. Chocolate Chip Carrot Cake 1A cups unsifted all-purpose flour V* cup sugar 'A cup packed light brown sugar I'A teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 'A teaspoon salt 3 eggs V* cup vegetable oil A teaspoon vanilla 2 cups grated carrots 2 cups (12-ounce package) semi sweet chocolate mini chips A cup chopped walnuts Dairy Farmers Promote Dental Health Month HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.) February is Dental Health Month and dairy farmers have joined dentists to help promote good dental health to children. The Pennsylvania Dairy Promo tion Program and Pennsylvania Dental Association have created a “Dental Health Activity Booklet” for distribution in schools across Pennsylvania. The booklet is available to school children as part of the Den tal Association’s Speaker’s Bureau. Dentists and dental hygienists are visiting schools to promote good dental health during this recognized month of celebra tion and throughout the year. The “Dental Health Activity Booklet” reminds children that they need to eat a healthy 'diet of foods. This includes dairy pro ducts which provide two neces- Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in large mixer bowl.
