Placing in the reserve senior and grand slot was Sunnybend Dapples Black Star, the three-year-old Wilcoxview Black-Star-Twin exhibited by Bridgette Boyer, York. York 4-H tractor drivers compete YORK Maneuvering ability with a tractor kept several 4-H competitors busy during the tractor driving contest held during the York 4-H Fair. Senior honors went to Tom Beck, Seven Valleys, winning out over close competitor Roy Thompson of Bast Berlin. Ron Horn, Dover, topped runner up Steve Eisenhart in the junior category. In a special lawn-and garden tractor class devised for beginners, Brian Morris scored the highest points, over second-place John Eller, and Tim Warner was ‘B spi in the tractor driving contest, beginning junior competitors maneuvered a lawn and garden size machine through their own course.
