HARRISBURG - Dorset breeders throughout Penn sylvania have flocked together to form a state-wide organization. Legally organized on July 11, 1980, the group is known as the Pennsylvania Dorset Breeders Association an appropriate title. Listed as their first and primary objective is to support and sponsor a Bred Ewe Sale at the Keystone International Livestock Exposition. This young organization has made their goal a reality. On Saturday, October 4, the First Dorset Bred Ewe Sale will begin at 6 p.m. at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. This marks the first major function of the newly formed organization, and will become an annual.
