Dauphin County 4-H’ers HARRISBURG - On July 23, twenty four Dauphin County 4-H’ers and their chaperones left the Harrisburg Airport for Dodge City, Kansas. These 4- H’ers will live in the homes of 4-H’ers in Kansas for nine days. This exchange will be highlighted by trips to Historic Dodge City, meat packing plants, and the High Plains Rodeo, according to Fred Rudy, Dauphin County extension agent The 4-H’ers are Barb and Rick Baker, Elizabethtown; Bratina, Brenda Harrisburg, Ken and Karen Brandt, Hershey, Calvin Dunpsey, Halifax, Grayson Fair, Harrisburg, David Feidt, Millersburg; Brenda and Dale Fisher, Hum- Duncan named senior agent CARLISLE Duane G Duncan, Cumberland County Extension agent on Penn State University’s Extension Service staff, has been promoted to the rank of senior Extension agent. Thomas B. King, Penn State associate dean for extension, who announced the promotion, points out that an internal rank system provides recognition for county Extension staff members who are con ducting outstanding educational programs. King notes that semor Extension agent is the highest rank attained in county Extension work Duncan, a native of Fairview, Erie County, has been a member of the ex tension service staff since 1958.
