Manbeck (R-Lebanon). The Park, which is located on the Swatara Creek ad jacent to Interstate Route 81, will include land located m Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties. Land acquisition for the project began in January, 1971, when the General Assembly appropriated $2.7 ' in. Approximately $4.8 million of the original $4.9 million appropriated for land purchases has been used up. Manbeck also reported that it is too early to predict exactly what kind of recreational facilities will be available when the Park is completed, due to un certainity over the availability of additional funds.
