Wunderlich was also recognized, later in the evening, for her outstanding performance in the District and State competitions. This was the third con secutive year that Jenny took the first place honors in the State Saddle Seat Equitation, junior division competition. In the senior division of the Saddle Seat class, Jodi Rexrode earned the trophy. Jodi is a member of the Palm Trail Blazers 4-H Club and had placed seventh in the State competition. Julianne Zimmerman of the Saddle Slappers was presented the Hunter Seat, not to jump, junior division competition award. Julianne was also honored for her participation m the District 4-H Show. The Hunter Seat, not to jump, senior division, honors were presented to Dawn Myers of the Hoof and Homs 4-H Club. Dawn was also honored for her District Show participation. The Hunter Seat, over jumps, awards went to Margot Leßoy, junior division and Dana Miller, semor division. Margot Leßoy is a member of the Hoof and Homs 4-H Club. Murray Lynn Frazier of the Saddle Slappers earned a trophy as a result of her Stock Seat, junior division, competition performance. Frazier also took the first place honors at the State Horse Show. She exhibited a Half Arabian filly in the production class contest. The senior division, Stock Seat, award went to Hope Reyner of the Palm Trail Blazers 4-H Club. Reyner had attended the District 4-H Horse Show. A total of 37 Lebanon County 4-H’ers attended the District Horse Show which was held in Lancaster this year. It was the first year that both production and per formance class competitions were held at the Show. Ten 4-H’ers particpated m the State 4-H horse show. Jeffrey Boyer of the North Cornwall Trail Blaers placed third m the Stock Pomes, two year old fillies, class com petition. He was awarded a set of cufflinks. Jeanne Pierce of the Spur and Bit Club, entered two class competitions. She took second place in the Stock Type Horse, filly of this year, class. She also placed third in the Stock Type Horse, brood mare com petition. Her sister, Sheri Pierce placed first in the Stock Type WEAVER CO. Trophy winners at the Lebanon County 4-H Horse Banquet included, front row, left to right. Margot Leßoy, Julianne Zimmerman, Jennifer Horse, Colts of this year, class contest. In the performance class, six Lebanon County 4-H’ers took state honors. In addition to those mentioned earlier, Mel Keller, of the Hoofs and Homs Club, and Marta and Melanie Lipensky of the North Cornwall Trail Blazers took state honors. Keller competed in the Clover Leaf Barrel Race. Marta Lipensky took “second place m the Saddle Seat Pleasure Pony com petition. Her sister, Melanie earned third place m the Saddle Seat Equitation, senior division.
