Miss Erb was working in the poultry spoke of the wheel shaped shopping center where the Lancaster County Farmers Association was featuring a mall promotion to generate understanding between consumers and producers. Obviously, the consumer in question had previously visited the dairy mall where free milk samples were handed out. Along with Miss Erb in the poultry area was a giant feathered chicken who MF Massey Ferguson tickled the fancy of many children as they sat upon his lap to talk turkey, an in cubator to delight adult and child, an egg grader, an information booth, and a turkey display. Other areas of the shop ping center were filled with displays of machinery, livestock, and fruit as well as _ demonstrations of crafts, sheep shearing, beef fitting, and commodity cooking, to name a few of the events and displays that filled the - weeklong event. To begin the mall promotion, Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Kent D.
