Mrs. Betty Cochran demon strated how to select the correct color and design of materials to bi used in the girls’ projects. Several girls modeled their outfits they made Inst year. Kaye Smith showed several outfits she made and explained different methods of clothing construc tion. Cindy McQuate and Cathy Hoober served refreshments to the members and their mothers. The next meeting will be held at Mrs. Hoober’s home 'Monday morning. June 10. KO KA LE KO 4-H CLUB The second meeting of the Ko Ka Le Ko 4-H Sewing Club was held at the home of Mrs. War ren Leininger, 525 South Fourth Street, Denver. A fitting and showing demonstration was giv en by Joe Wivell, Earl Stauffer and Mary Ellen Kettering, and a hoof-trimming demonstration was given by Henry Kettering. A Judging contest was held for all members. Robert Groff, a 4-H Dairy Club leader, was the official Judge. The next meeting will be held at the Clay Elementary School on June 20 at 7 p m. There will be a baseball game with the Lebanon County 4-H Dairy Club as guests. MERRIMAIDS The Lampeter-Strasburg Mer rimaids 4-H Club met Thursday, May 27. at the Farm & Home Center.
