So when we meet up with a friend who also rides the bus, we engage in a lengthy conversation. Oh the joy of talking to someone to pass the time! Yet loud and very annoying conversations go on around us. While on the bus the other day, I could not help but overhear a conversation that seriously bothered me. The person who was talking was criticizing the campus, very unfairly I think. There are many people - (faculty and students) who do everything in their power to make our campus an exciting place to be. Then there are those who sit on the bus and criticize everything that the students have been doing to benefit the rest of us. To correct one of the criticisms I overhead, the Lion’s Eye is not a censored publication! The entire staff works hard, together, to put out a newspaper that will appeal to everyone’s interests. Our campus is not only a campus; we are also a community of many different kinds, so no one has the right to judge someone’s motives or the outcomes of their actions.
