We recently took a survey and here are the responses we got: John Costello — I had no other choice. 1 wanted to go to University Park from Millersville, but my major in business wasn’t transferrable to the main campus, only to here. I like the personal and in- dividual attention from the pro- fessors. What 1 dislike is the half hour drive here and home again, and the absence of social activities. Michael Sellers — This is where I wanted to go to school, and it was good for me financially. I like the fact that this is a small campus, and the instructors are very nice. I dislike the nonex- istence of social activities, and my drive here and home every- day. Al Boyd — The reason I came to this campus is that it is close to home, and because I live at home it is cheaper than living in dorms at University Park. I like the campus because it is close to home and it’s small. i dislike some of the teachers. Frank Palagruto — I came to Delco because it is close to home, and also because it is cheaper than other schools. The people are very nice, which I like. I ‘dislike the long wait I have between classes. Jean Travaglini — This is a good school and campus, and I came for a good education. It is cheaper than other schools too. I live in the city and I really like this cam- pus because I can get out of the city five days a week for school. I also like the teachers, you get the feeling that they are there for you. It is a little too small in respect to social activities, there aren’t enough of them. I dislike my drive here everyday. Michael Digiorgio — I came to this campus because the Ogontz campus was full. I like that it is small, and I can get out of the city. I don’t like the fact that it takes me two hours to get here in the morning. Joe Radey — This is where I was accepted, and I like the school. nice, and I like the people here. I don’t like the fact that it is so far from home. Lori Schraeder — I came to Delaware County campus main- ly because I couldn’t afford to go to University Park for four years. Scott Tajirian — By coming here, I'm able to continue work- ing, which is a big financial benefit, and at the same time I'm still able to live at home, which makes it convenient. According to students we in- terviewed, two main reason ex- ist for students chosing to come here rather than University Park or another school. As can be seen in our survey, they are: financial reasons, and conve- nience. The disadvantages are few, and is shown, the advan- tages of a commuter campus outweigh the bad. | SHOULD'VE OTED.
