— LION'S EYE — September 1, 1982 Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Delaware County Campus but by Nick Anastasio Buildings: There are three buildings and two modulars on the campus. The Main Building, the one you see when you first enter the campus off of Yearsley Mill Road, contains most of the classrooms as well as the student lounge, health office/infirmary, records office, academic affairs office, financial office, mail room, Dean Linder’s office, student affairs office (not to be confused with the Student Affairs modular), facul- ty offices, rest rooms, and a few vending machines. The Library/Learning Center also contains a few classrooms, vending machines, and rest rooms, but is better known for its library and learning center (makes sense). The learning center is open to all students who need tutoring. The library contains approximately 40,000 books, 300 periodical titles, Were Afraid to Ask . . . newspapers, microfilms, records, tapes, and a catalogue of all books in the library at University Park. The Phys. Ed. building, located next to the ten- nis/basketball courts, contains locker rooms, showers, phys. ed. offices, and rest rooms. A gymnasium is scheduled to be built within the next two years. The two modulars (the things that look like trailers) contain the bookstore, cafeteria, Student Affairs modular (not to be confused with the student affairs office in the Main Building), faculty of- fices, and financial aid office. Clubs: Among the clubs on campus are the Black Student League, Camera Club, Cheerleaders, Drama Club, Keystone Society, Lion's Eye, and Outing Club. For a complete list, consult your Student Handbook. State Police: For those who use the Media By-Pass to get to and from Tomesko Named at Penn State Edward S.J. Prior to joining Penn State, he was a senior research chemist at Atlantic Richfield Company. Library Learning Center pholo by Camera Club school, take note: the by-pass is a speed trap! State Police can be found all along the by-pass all day. Be on the lookout for them whenever you use the by-pass. Parking Stickers: Parking stickers cost $10 per term, which isn’t bad con- sidering that parking violations usually start at $15. Parking stickers must be obtained by the second week of the term, and are available in the financial office. Snow Cancellations: It would take about ten inches of snow for Dr. Vairo to close the school. Think I'm kidding? There were no snow holidays last year. However, just in case we do manage to get ten inches of snow, the emergency number for the school is 495, and is broadcast over most major radio sta- tions.
