Thier new album,’Along The Red Ledge" proves to be their most promising release to date. Following in the vein of thier last two efforts, this album resembles a strong comparison of both. “It's A Laugh” opens side one . Helping out on vocals are "Cheap Trick. This tune is already climbing the charts and may be their biggest hit yet. "Don?t Blame it on Love", a fast uptempo rock and roll ditty, with overtones ala "Back Street”, gives this album its harder moments. Todd Rundgren displays a fine guitar’ arrangement on this song. Daryl sings a sophisticated lead vocal on the sculful "I Don't Wanna Lose You" possibly making this the best tune off the L.P. George Harrison even makes a debut on “The Last Time"; another possible smash off of this great L.P. Even after a shod- dy “Livetime® album and no public response on, possibly the best al- bum of 1977, "Beauty on a Back Strecet®, Hall and Oates are defin- itely "Back Together Again”.
