Section 4 This shall be the official inauguration of any member of the Executive Board, Senate, or Student Court. The oath shall be administered by the Chief Justice, or a duly appointed representative. “I do swear (or affirm) that I shall fulfill the duties of the office with which I have been invested by the Student Body of the Harrisburg Campus of the Penn State Capital College to the best of my ability. As the holder of such office, I shall do my best to uphold the principles of this College, its Student Government Constitution, and the interests of its Students .” Section 1 Section 2 Section 3 Section 4 Section 5 Section 1 Oath of Offices Vacancies may occur through resignation or removal AH leave of absences, such as medical, academic, or military leave, must be approved by the SGA Executive Board. The time of the leave can not exceed a semester’s length. However, the President is the only exception see Article 111, Section 2N. To fill a vacancy that is incurred due to absences, such as medical, academic, or military leave, a person shall be appointed to fill the position in the interim. There must be an attempt to fill any vacancy within a reasonable amount of time. If there is no interest in a position, it shall remain open until an appropriate person is approved. To resign from office, a resignation shall be presented in writing before the Senate and shall become effective when recorded as such in the minutes. Impeachment A) Any member of the Executive Board, Senate, or Student Court shall be subject to impeachment if, during the exercise of their office, they infringe upon this constitution, the bylaws, or the rules of the University.
