Page 4 On behalf of Chi Gamma lota Fraternity I would like to welcome all incoming Juniors and returning Seniors to Capitol Campus. I hope everyone had a great summer and came back with a positive attitude. The fraternity is a service fraternity composed mostly of fellow veterans and some social members, which is better known on campus as the XGl’s. The past school year was a very worthwhile and productive year for our organization. Since we are the most active organization on campus, there are a lot of activities in which almost everyone on campus will participate or have some interest. Some examples of our activities throughout the school year are as follows: Annual Blood Drive, which benefits members of the school, help with Orientation and registration at the beginning of the school year, and the most popular is the Annual Spring Concert and picnic at the end of the school year. Besides these service activities and functions we also have some recreational activities which promote a lot of interest. The XGl’s Keggars at the Hunters and Anglers Club off campus is the most talked about and enjoyed Keggars given by a school organization. Believe it or not there usually are plenty of girls that come from surrounding local towns and schools because of the reputation of our Keggars. Other recreational activities include entry in the annual bathtub race in which we placed 2nd last year and proceeded to consume 1/4 keg of beer as our 2nd place prize. We also attend a Hershey Bears Hockey Game and of course a Phillies Baseball Game. In addition to these activities we participate in Intramural Football, Basketball, Softball and sponsor two Bowling teams every term. We urge all verterans and anyone else who is interested in becoming a social member to stop in our XGI Lounge, located on the first floor in Room W-114. Feel free to drop in anytime. Once again welcome back and best of luck in the school year.
