Home (1937) • Cast Stan Laurel, Oliver Har dy, James Finlayson, Sharon Lyme, Stanley Fields This is one of the best Laurel and Hardy films, showing the team at their prime. They're cast as "tenderheel" desert prospectors in search of the daughter of a late friend who has struck it rich. The daughter is held in a saloon run by Jimmy Finlayson. Stan makes the mistake of telling their plans to Jimmy, who convinces them that his girl friend is the rightful heiress. The film's highlight comes when the boys realize they have been dupel.
