Keenan's team sports a roster of only six players, five of which a first year players at Behrend. One of the promising freshman on the team is Jill Kacprowicz (Villa Maria), who began her year with 4 consecuative wins. "Jill is really playing well” said Coach Keenan of his top player. “Coming into this year I didn’t know what the competition would be like. Now I feel that I can compete as long as I stay focused and patient” Kacprowicz said. Coach Keenan agreed and said “Jill just needs to learn some patience against opponants.” The lone returning player is junior Shanna Cotti who ted the team in victories last year. "Shanna had two really good wins this weekend against Frosberg and Bethany. She is serving the ball a lot better" said Keenan. Another freshman with a promising future is Emily Rubin (Villa Maria). "Emily has a solid iroke, she just needs to control the ball better and let her opponant make the mistakes" Keenan said. "Tanni is vary consistant. She keeps the ball in play which helped her to wins over Frosberg and Fredonia over the weekend" said Keenan. The Lady Lions next match is September 30 at Bethany.
