Murphy said of Laferty. Laferty, “He brought us back Sports from a three to one deficit by scoring two goals and he was really responsible for our comeback. Andy is a powerful forward with great ball skills.” Laferty has scored seven goals and has had one assist for the season. He had three goals in the Grove City win and one in the game against Washington and Jefferson. He also contributed one goal in the win against Buffalo State. Andy reflected back on the season and said, “We were a young team this year but as the season progressed we grew into a unit. Next year we will have another year of experience and with most everyone back we're looking forward to a great season.” Although a quiet individual on the soccer field, Coach Perritano knows Laferty’s presence is felt by all. “You may not notice him for a half, but he is deceptive and can take over a game with his ability to score at any one time.” Coordnator Before coming to Behrend Lafertytiad a great senior year at South Park High School in Pittsburgh, scaring 30 goals and had 18 assists.
