makes him Athlete of the Week.

Laferty is a sophomore

Laferty. Laferty, “He brought us back

Laferty has scored seven goals
and has had one assist for the
season. He had three goals in
the Grove City win and one in
the game against Washington
and Jefferson. He also
contributed one goal in the win
against Buffalo State.
Andy reflected back on the
season and said, “We were a
young team this year but as the
season progressed we grew into a
unit. What we lacked in
experience we made up in

Although a quiet individual on
the soccer field, Coach Perritano
knows Laferty’s presence is felt
by all. “You may not notice
him for a half, but he is
deceptive and can take over a
game with his ability to score at
any one time.”

Lafertytiad a great senior year at
South Park High School in
Pittsburgh, scaring 30 goals and
had 18 assists. He had IS goals
his freshman year at Behrend.
