The project consists of the placement of an under- ground cable conduit sys- tem to be located in Dial - Avenue, Apple Alley, and Waterford Street. The purpose of this sys- tem is to better serve a growing portion of Marietta, and to maintain better tele- phone service to residents. cable In the future they plan, where possible, to place all new cable into these under- ground conduits, and possi- bly even remove some of the existing aerial cables. Ditenhafer said that the rapid growth of Marietta in recent years has brought a- bout a tremendous demand for telephone service and has taxed the capacity of present equipment. The new improvement and ex- pansion program has been engineeered to meet today’s needs and also to allow for telephone growth in the future. Consider the bank you get with it. The programs, services and smiles that make banking easy. For instance, at Farmers First you get 3 Round-the-Clock teller for 24-hour access to your money. And long office hours. (Ours are longer than any other bank in Lancaster County -- many offices are even open after dinner.) Or take interest rates on savings. Ours go from 5% regular passbook to a 7%%, 6-year certificate of deposit. (It yields 7.9%, compounded daily. Substantial penalty for early withdrawal.) And when saving doesn’t come easy (does it ever?), there's. our No-Will-Power Savings. We'll transfer 79 the money automatically -- from your checking to é your savings account. Then there’s the Easy State- ment. It puts almost all of your Farmers First accounts on one balanced, easy-to-read statement. Now consider financial advice. When you need it, we‘ve got it. Just stop by, and we'll introduce you to-a real pro. (We bet you'll get to know him or her on a first-name basis.) And you won’‘t have far to go because there's a Farmers First office nearby. In Neffsville, Lincoln, Marietta, Ephrata, Lititz and Inter course. Also at Park City, Lancaster Shopping Center and Ephrata North. We won’t brag (well, just a little) ,but there‘s no other bank around that offers all these things. So when you pick a free checking bank, pick Easy Banking. That's us.
