Miss Elizabeth Fletcher visited in Coatesville and Royersford last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Smith and sons, Warner Robins, Ga., is visiting Mr. and Mrs. William Smith and Mrs. Herbert Smith. Steve Houseal, Pittsburgh, visited at his home last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Houseal celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last Wednesday. Those having June bir- thday anniversaries are Mrs. Alan Johnson June 11, Mary Kanoff June 12 and Mrs. Alberta Waller June 8. Mr. and Mrs. George Waller will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 15. The Fire Co. answered two fire calls and one am- bulance call last week. The Men’s Fellowship Auction held last Thursday on the Reformed Church lawn was a grand success. The men had $720 clear and the women $68. Pastor and Mrs. Earl Herr had Open House last Sunday afternoon at the parsonage. The Illuminator Class of the Church of God will meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Watts on Thursday. The Father's Day program at the above church will be in charge of the youth on Sunday. Dennis Hall will be or- dained at Susquehanna University June 23 at 10 a.m. He will be the new pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Community Bible School will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church June 24 to June 28 at 7 p.m. Classes will include nursery through junior high. Registration deadline is June 9 or no later than June 16th. On Sunday, June 23rd, Ivan Hess will deliver the sermon at St. John's Lutheran Church. Florin Churches Unite To Offer Bible School An eight-day Community Vacation Bible School will be held at Glossbrenner United Methodist church under the co-sponsorship of the Florin Church of the Brethren and Glossbrenner United Methodist Church. The school will be held Monday - Thursday, June 17- 20 and 24-27, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. each day. Theme of the school will be, “Good News Is Jesus.” There will be classes for children four years of age through eighth grade. Each day’s experience will include singing, devotions, Bible studies and crafts. Yvonne Farmer and Clara Kniss are co-directors of the school. A full staff of teachers and helpers include: Marie Becker, Ruth Buffenmyer, Karen Buller, Mabel Buller, Mark Buller, Janet 'Darkey, Marilyn Dombach, Joan Dubble, LuAnn Eichler, Genevieve Gano, Donna Gebhart, Orpha Gish, Francis Greiner, Mae Greiner, Kathy Herrmann, Connie Kline. Moderator to Talk Sunday at Florin Church of Brethren Dr. Wayne F. Geisert, 1974 Annual Conference Moderator of the Church of the Brethren, will speak in a pre-Conference inspirational service in the Florin Church of the Brethren on Sunday evening, June 16, at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Geisert, reared on a farm near Abilene, Kansas, is president of Bridgewater College (Va.) and is only the third layman ever to hold the highest elective office in the denomination. His rare appearance on Sunday evening in the Florin church will climax a busy day of apearances in Lan- caster county. Sunday evening, his message will be “Neighbors or Numbers’.
