BUREAU OF MARKETS FOR THE BULLETIN MARKET: Receipts the local Yards during the past week were heavy and included a liberal supply of Stockers and Feed- ers Beef steers and all other classes butcher stock closed steady with week ago top beef steers $8.60 weight 1360 bulk of sales $7.25- 8.00. Calves showed a steady ten- dency thru out the week top vealers $13.00. Hogs advanced sharply closing fully $1.00 above last week top Westerns $12.25 spots higher. Stockers and Feeders Receipts from all feeder districts were liberal including many of good to choice quality demand for better grades showed some improvement while the common and stale kinds were extremely dull prices on all grades held practically steady thru out the week. At the close there was a good clearance on all but the common doggy kind that would be a poor investment at any price.
