The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. Christian D. Neidigh, 680 Wood Street, Mount Joy. She graduated from Donegal High School, Willow Street Vo-Tech School, York Hos- pital School of Nursing, and attends Millersville State College. She is employed by St. Joseph Hospital. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos D. Hershey, 43 Springville Road, Mount Joy. He graduated from Donegal High School and Millersville State College. He is manag- er of Hershey and Son Sport Supply, Inc., Mount Joy. Miss Evonne L. Neidigh, sister of the bride, Reading, was maid of honor. Serving as best man was Ted. A. Hershey, brother of the bridegroom, Hartford, Conn. The couple will live in Mount Joy. Obituaries EMMA M. BACHMAN Emma M. Bachman, 83, of Bainbridge, died last week at Harrisburg Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in York County, she was a lifelong resident of Bainbridge. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Bachman and the daughter of the late Benjamin and Emma J. Gable Reno. She belonged to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Bainbridge. Surviving are a daughter, Helen, wife of George S. Engle, Bainbridge; a sister, Carrie E. Heisey, Quarry- ville; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchild- ren. JOSEPH F. BENYAK Joseph F. Benyak, 359, Columbia R1, died last week of an apparently self- inflicted gunshot wound, Births BRADLEY, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin (Suzanne Frey), 106 South River Street, May- town, a daughter at General Hospital last week. INGRAM, Mr. and Mrs. Steven R. (Donna Nickels), Members of the Donegal High School Class of 1960 held their 20th reunion at the Treadway Inn, Lan- caster, last Saturday night. Gary Stark served as master of ceremonies for the dinner meeting where the guests of honor were former teachers Miss Catherine Zeller, Mr. and Mrs. John Day, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Peters, and Mr. and Mrs. Gingerich. Prizes were awarded to the following persons: Joe and Loretta School Portner according to Pennsylvania State Police. Benyak was found along Chickies Hill Road by a passing motorist and pro- nounced dead by Dr. Barry Walp. According to police, Benyak was apparently depressed over the death of his wife Beatrice, who died June 11 of this year. Benyak was last employed by the Gray Iron Casting Co., Mount Joy. He was born in Conoy Township, the son of the late John and Susan Madjur Benyak. He is survived by four step-children: Harvey C. Drace Jr., Manheim R3; Betty Joyce, wife of Donald Antes, Mount Joy; Janice Homsher, Marietta; and Teresa Fund, Elizabeth- town; and two brothers, Peter, Bainbridge R1, and Michael, Mount Wolf R1. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. . John Penyak, 153 West Fairview Avenue, Marietta. She graduated from Donegal High School and is attend- ing Bloomsburg State Col- lege. The bridegroom is the son of Thurlow Smith, Pioneer Hills, Elizabethtown, and Mrs. Elizabeth Sallerland, Hanover, West Germany. He attended Elizabethtown Area High School and is serving in the United States Marine Corps with the rank of Sgt. Miss Anne Rutherford, Marietta, was maid of honor, and junior brides- maid was Teresa O’Dinnell, niece of the bride, May- town. Flower girls were and Joanne Zuch Cope for wearing green and white school colors; Grace Yeagley for changing the most; Loretta Portner and Linda Koser Weidman for bring- ing yearbooks; Anne Spang- ler for staying at the Treadway Inn; and Carolyn Becker for not wearing earrings. The bride wore a gown of organza over taffeta featur- ing a square neckline adorned with cluny lace and pearl clusters. Long full sleeves trimmed with cluny lace had wide cluny lace cuffs edged in a ruffle. The A-line skirt had an apron effect and a triple founce at the hemline flowed into a Cathedral length train. Her finger length mantilla was edged in cluny lace. It was attached to a Juliette headpeice covered with matching lace and pearl clusters.
