The meet scheduled for Tuesday ev- ening was rained out due to the storms in the area recently. When Mount Joy and Lititz met, Lititz had a 6 and 0 record and Mount Joy stood at S and 1. It looked like an interesting meet. Although Mount Joy was close to Lititz during the entire meet, the Lititz team came out on top by a 238 to 191 score. The scoring after each event went as follows: Freestyle — Lititz 49, Mount Joy 41; Back — Lititz 95; Mount Joy 85; Breast — Lititz 132; Mount Joy, 137; Butterfly — Lititz 189, Mount Joy 170; and Relay Teams — Lititz 238, Mount Joy 191. Mount Joy’s first place winners for the meet at Lititz are as follows: 8 and under girls: Karen Boger—free; Joanne Darkey —back; and Steff Gingrich —breast. 8 and under boys: Mark Stehman—free. 10 and under girls: Melody Weller—back. 10 and under boys: Tim McGarvey—breast, relay; Scott Ney, Eric Mengel and Andy Breault—relay. 12 and under girls: Missey Wetzel—breast. 14 and under girls: Amy Hess—free, back and fly; Hope Madara—breast and relay; Dee Arndt, Stacey Gingrich and Kim Funk— relay. 14 and under boys: Mark Shearer—free and back. 17 and under girls: Sherri Kinsey—free, breast and fly. 17 and under boys: Rod Fellenbaum—back and re- lay; Mike Jones—breast and relay; Pat Moran and Bill Dishart—relay. Saturday, July 26, the Parents Swim Club hosted the Divisional Swim at the Mount Joy Lions Club Pool. Eight teams took part in the event.
