Andersen, 48, of 561 West Market Street, Marietta, died last week at St. Joseph Hospital after becoming ill on the job at Penn Casting Corp. He was the husband of Betty L. Nein Anderson. A veteran of the Korean War, Anderson served as a corporal in the Marines. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Marietta, a captain in the Marietta fire police, and coach of the Marietta Youth Athletic Association base- ball team for 10 years. He was born in Florin, the son of the late Roy B. and Maude E. Yohn Anderson. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one daughter, Linda Kay Anderson, at home, and a sister, Mabel, wife of Clarence C. Bard Jr., Marietta. WILLIAM E. COLLER William E. Coller, 38, Marietta RD1, died at his home last week after a lengthy illnes. He was the husband of Janet Frey Coller. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Charles and Ella Stum Coller. He retired in 1978 from the Consolidated Freight Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theatre of Opera- tions. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Columbia; Eliza- bethtown Loyal Order of Moose Chapter 701; Eliza- bethtown Veterans of For- eign Wars; and the Team- sters Union Local 771. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: a son, Charles W., at home; five daugh- ters, Darlene M. Coller, at home, Kathy A. Coller, Marietta; Donna, wife of Robert Rummel, Mount Joy; Nancy, wife of Richard Oberholtzer, Marietta; and Jean, wife of Richard Prescott, Bainbridge; a step-son, Gary D. Dellen, Hazeltown; two brothers, Arthur Coller, Elizabeth- town, and Claude Coller, Columbia RD3; two sisters, Mildred Billet, Columbia RD1, and Mary, wife of Paul Hoffines, Marietta RD1; and six grandchildren. CHARLES S. DRACE Charles Samuel ‘‘Dutch’’ Drace, 67, of 123 Harrisburg Pike, Rheems, died unex- pectedly last Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital. A lifelong resident of the area, he had lived in Rheems for the past 2S years. He was the husband of Esther A. Dell Drace. The son of the late George and Irene Mayer Drace, he was born in Maytown. Drace was employed as a truck driver for Musser’s Potato Chips before his retirement in May 1978. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Maytown. He was also a member of the Elizabethtown Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge S69, the Milton Grove Sports- man’s Association, the Nor- lanco CB Club and the West Donegal Civil Defense. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons and two daughters: Charles D., Mount Joy; H. Eugene, Maytown; Patricia E., wife of Omher Gingrich, Lancast- er; Peggy, wife of Edward Benedict, Elizabethtown; ten grandchildren; and two brothers, John Harold, Maytown, and Albert I., Rheems. Nutrition workshop at Donegal Donegal School District recently conducted a nutri- tion education workshop funded by the United States Department of Agriculture under Public Law 95-166. Directing the workshop activities at the Riverview School was Carolyn R. Hebe of the Dairy Council. The workshop was attend- ed by 29 food service personnel, 23 elementary teachers and 11 secondary teachers. Poetry contest A $1000 grand prize will be awarded in the Sixth Annual Poetry Competition sponsored by the World of Poetry, a quarterly news- letter for poets. Poems of all styles and on any subject are eligible to compete for the grand prize or for 49 other cash or merchandise awards. Fire Company sub, steak sale The Ladies Auxiliary of the Maytown Fire Company will hold a sub and steak sale July 12, starting at 10:00 am.
