Another busy season is expected. During 1979 the library reported over 3,000 show- ings and 90,000 viewers. The library’s SS films are scheduled on a first come- first served basis. Interested schools, groups and clubs should make bookings im- mediately. A complete cata- log with ordering informa- tion is available at the local United Telephone business office or Phone Shop. ‘““The library’s SS titles offer something for every age group and cover a wide range of current subjects including biology, conserva- tion, science, energy, eco- nomics, metrics, drugs and alcohol abuse, safety and other general information subjects. Dog Club’s 1st meeting The Penns-woods Sport- ing Dog Fanciers Club will hold its first meeting Sunday, May 4, at Sico Park in Mount Joy at 1 pm. The club invites all who are interested in the Sporting Breeds of dogs (as listed by the AKC) to attend this first meeting. Interested persons may bring a picnic lunch a spend the afternoon learning what the club is all about. The club deals with retrieving, holding point, flushing game, obedience training and dog showing.
