EBY Clinton G. Eby, 79, of 330 N. Barbara St., Mount Joy, died this week at the Lancaster General Hospital after an illness of several months. He was the husband of Lillian F. Barto Eby. He was born in Rapho Township, a son of the late Clinto H. and Barbara F. Garber Eby. A former member of the Red Rose Auto Club, he and his wife owned a 1921 Ford” touring car which they drove in Mount Joy parades. Mr. Eby was self-em- ployed for more than 28 years on a bread route he operated in the Mount Joy area. After his retirement, he worked as a janitor for Donegal School District and National Central Bank. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and the Mount Joy Fire Company. He was also a member of the Mount Joy Leisure Club and the Mount Joy Historical Society. He belonged to Casiphia Lodge S51, Mount Joy, Free and Accepted Masons; Lan- caster Lodge of Perfection; and Harrisburg Consistory. Gantz of Mount Joy R1 died last week at the Lancaster Osteopathic Hos- pital. She was 67. She was the wife of Harry M. Gantz. She was born in West Donegal Township, the daughter of Elizabeth Shank Heisey and the late Millard Heisey. She was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren and the Mount Joy Welcome Wagon. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are the following daughters: Elva May, wife of Thomas Worthy, Cassville; Kathryn, wife of Ronald Stayer, Irwin; Janet, wife of John Erb, Manheim R7; Evelyn Gantz, Mount Joy; and Naomi, wife of Joseph Helm, Mount Joy.
