Dr. David E. Schlosser was organist and Mrs. Carole Musser was soloist for the 10:30 a.m. ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Barto, R.D.#1, Mount Joy. She was graduated from Donegal High School, Mt. Joy, and from Hagerstown Business College, Hagers- town, Maryland, and is employed by The Veterans Administration, ton, D.C. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Clayton Schofield, Philadelphia, Pa. He was graduated from Bowie High School, Bowie, Maryland and is attending the University of Maryland, College Park. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 3 years and is employed by The Veterans Administra- tion Hospital, Washington, D.C. The bride wore a white knit blouson gown which featured a sheer yoke neckline accented with silk venice lace. The sleeves had insets of English net also accented with the silk venice lace and the skirt flowed into a chapel length train. Her mid-length scalloped veil was trimmed with appliques of silk venice lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses, white carnations, baby’s breath and blue forget-me-nots. A reception was held at Three Center Square, May- town. Clayton and Steven Schofield, brothers of the groom, provided instru- mental music. After a honeymoon trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside at 5707 Jamestown Rd., Hyattsville, Maryland. James McClure offici- ating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Obituaries REV. BENJAMIN ADAMS The Rev. Benjamin B. Adams, 80, of 2223 Monroe Avenue, West Wyomissing, and formerly of Mount Joy, died Sunday at the Reading Hospital. Born in Mount Joy, he was a veteran of World War One. He was pastor of the Lancaster Church of God for 10 years. Surviving him are: his wife, Helen M. Miller Adams; a son, Benjamin B. Adams, Jr., of Landisville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Reichard, Mount Joy RI. She graduated from Done- gal High School and is employed by AMP, Inc., Landisville.
