Under the direction of DiVitry architects, work will begin on the roof sometime this summer. Community Development Funds will be used for the 1979,80 repairs to the gym floor, roof, and stage. Use of the gym and stage should be available by 1981. The Jaycee Community Recrea- tion Center is to be used for the benefit of all Marietta and local area citizens. Cleanup work / will be performed by the Marietta Jaycees and other interested local organizations. The Marietta Jaycees have re- cently discontinued their ecology project of collecting newspapers, glass, and tin at the old elementary school in favor of the clean look for a recreation center.
