Figler, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of the New York Board of Trade, will be the featured speaker at the annual Spring Banquet of the Congregational Bible Church of Marietta. Dr. Figler is also a Principal in the Management Consult- ing Services of Ernst & Ernst and is in charge of the Human Resource Sys- tems function for that firm’s Eastern District. Dr. Figler works closely with top management ex- ecutives in the solutions to problems in areas such as motivation, communication and organization.-He is an authority on modern man- agement theory. Dr. Figler holds a doctorate from the Univer- sity of Maryland in Industrial Counseling Psy- chology. During and after his graduate work, and before joining Ernst & Ernst, he taught at ,the University of Maryland, served as Assistant Direc- tor of the University Counseling Center, and worked in both the public and private sectors as a consultant. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York. Dr. Figler is a frequent speaker before professional and other organizations. He has also written many articles and a book entitled Overcoming Executive Mid- Life Crisis which was published in March of 1978. The banquet will be held at six-thirty in the evening on Saturday, March 24th, at the Farm and Home Center, Lancaster.
