Jeff, a computer science student at Penn State, York campus, was one of four computer students from his school who went to compete. He is studying engineering. Navy promotes Bishop Marine Corporal Ronald L. Bishop, the son of John W. and Rose M. Hinkle of 580 E. Market Street, Marietta, has been meritor- iously promoted to his present rank while serving with the 2nd Force Service Support Group, Marine Corps Base, Camp LeJeune North Carolina. He received the acceler- ated promotion for out- standing performance, pro- ficiency, and professional ability. He joined the Corps in May 1975. Agenda of the next School Board meeting The Donegal School Board will meet this Thursday, Jatuary 18, at 8 PM in the board room of the school district office building. The following items of business will be discussed and/or acted upon: Resignations of teachers and custodians; recom- mendations for hiring con- tracts; paying of bills; CETA matters; board com- mittee assignments; tax DHS seniors to sing in Southern District Chorus Five Donegal High School © students will be participating in this year’s Southern District Chorus Festival which will be held on January 18, 19, and 20 at Pequea Valley High School. Selected, by auditions which were held in November, are Becky Zimmerman and Deb Torres singing Alto 1, Wayne Mylin and Bruce Wagner singing Bass I, and Kirk Billet singing Bass II. Robert J. Summers from the University of South Florida, will be the guest conductor for the two hundred member chorus. Public performances will be held Friday and Saturday Kirk Billet evenings beginning at 8:00. Tickets will be available at the door. Mr. Peter Jarjisian, Pequea Valley's vocal Bruce Wagner Deb Torres music director, is serving as host for this year’s festival. Mr. RoAnn Lau is the vocal music director at Donegal.
