David and Daniel Deitrick, sons of Harold and Vicki Deitrick, of 78 N. Chestnut Street, Marietta, spent Thanksgiving vaca- tion in Dallas, Texas, with Mark and Mary Gube, cousins to the Deitricks. Thanksgiving day was spent at the Dallas-Red- skins game. Sight seeing and fun was planned for David and Dan. They returned home on Sunday, November 26th. §§8 Michael Gainer of Mount Joy spent November 11th and 12th in New York City. He won the trip through a contest sponsored by the Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. He visited the United Nations, the Empire State building, Radio City Music Hall, and the Statue of Liberty, which he took a boat out to see. §§8 Florence Burris of May- town celebrated her birth- day on November 29th. §§§ Tracy McCoy of Milton Grove and Beth Gainer of Mount Joy were entered in the 6th annual Turkey Trot at Millersville on Sunday, November 15th. Both girls are members of the Donegal Track Team. §§§ Spec. 4 Bruce Zangari, the son of Mrs. Phyllis Beck, Harvest View Apart- ments, Mount Joy, recently completed a primary non- commissioned Army officer course at Fort Hood, Texas.
