Marietta Ambulance elects Englert, plans to buy radio Steve Englert was re- elected crew chief of the Marietta Area Ambulance Association, Inc., at the annual meeting. Steve Bailey was elected assistant crew chief, and Claudia Sload was named the treasurer. Nancy Herneisen was elected treasurer. John Williams, Brian Brandt, Robert Crossan, and Deborah Walsh were approved as new members, on recommendation. Twenty-two ambulance calls were reported for the month of September. Five of those were stand-by calls. Thirty-two were re- ported for October, of which two were stand-by and six were no-trip calls. The trade in might bring back S0% of the cost. Turkey bagged on 1st trip November 29, 1973 CPR course to be offered in Mount Joy The Friendship Fire Co. Ambulance Crew will hold a CPR course at the fire ‘house on Market Street in Mount Joy, starting this week. CPR is a simple and valuable first aid method of helping the victims of heart attack, drowning, shock, and other common causes of death. The cost of the course, given by the Red Cross, is only about $2.00. The course will be taught on Tuesdays and Sundays, December 3, S, 10, and 12. The Tuesday classes (on the Sth and 12th) will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Sunday classes (3rd and 10th) will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. To register for the course, call Bill martin.
