INC. FLORIN FEEDS MOUNT JOY, PA Sign language classes The Counseling Service for the Deaf, Inc., a United Way Agency, will be offering sign language classes to all interested people in Lancaster. The classes will begin on February 20th and 21st at the Community Center at 630 Janet Avenue, Lancas- ter. The Introduction to Ameslan class starts the 20th, and Basic Sign Lan- guage and English Idioms in Sign classes start on the 21st. The fee is $30. Texts are available at the classes. Music awards At the end of the second marking period the schools of the Donegal school district announces the names of students of instrumental music who have done well enough to score a high number of ‘points.’ There are two clubs— one consisting of students who have scored 200 or more points and one for students who have scored 100 or more points. Three students have scored high enough to make the 200 club. JC’s to hold prayer breakfast The Marietta Jaycees will hold their 7th annual Community-Unity Prayer Breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 19th at Zion’s United Church of Christ, S So. Waterford Ave., Marietta, in the downstairs fellow- ship hall. The Rev. A.B. Schirmer, pastor of the First U.M. Church, and a new minister in our township, will be the guest speaker. The ladies of the Women’s Guild of Zion's will prepare and serve the meal at 7:30 AM. A donation of $1.75 is asked. This event is open to iii and men interested YET, unity, and our community.
