Registration will be from 12:15 to 12:30 PM. All children in grades 4, 5, and 6 who live in the school district are elegible to attend. Practices are scheduled from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. Fundamentals will be stres- sed for 7 weeks, followed by league-type play. Stu- dents should bring sneak- ers and dress warmly. Persons shown left to right are listed in order in article 250,000 birds for Tamaqua December 7, 1977 Plain & Fancy expansion Plain and Fancy Egg Ranch of E-town recently broke ground for a new plant in Tamaqua. “‘It’s the only kind of breakage 1 know of that increases pro- duction,” vice-president Paul Hess, Jr., cracked. The new plant will be called Plain and Fancy Farms. The first phase calls for installation of a 50,000-bird complex. Even- tually 250,000 birds will be laying there. The process- ing plant will handle 180,000 dozens of eggs every week. Present at the ground breakage were: Bill Wen- rich, job coordinator of Ebersole Construction; Paul Hess, Jr.; Paul Hess, Sr., president of Plain and Fancy; Jay Habecker, gen- eral manager of Plain and Fancy; and John Ebersole, owner of Ebersole Con- struction. Jaycee Week The Mount Joy Jaycees will observe National Jay- cee Week during the week of January 15-21, 1978. The finale of this week-long observation will be the dis- tinguished service award banquet, at which time a local young man will be recognised for his services to the community and his personal development, with particular emphasis on the year 1977. Free entertainment Elizabethtown College is offering you some free entertainment for the holi- days. Tommorrow night at 8:00, in the E-town Church of the Brethren, the college will sponsor that old favorite, Agamemnon, per- formed in an unusual manner by Peter Anott’s marionettes.
