Drace, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Drace, 63 Vista Drive, Maytown, was wedded to Jere R. Hoffmaster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Hoffmaster, 345 Delta St., Mount Joy, in a double ring ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sept. 10. Rev. David E. Klepper, Jr. performed the cere- mony. Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Waltmyer. Nicole Waltimyer, the bride's niece, was flower girl. Bridesmaids were; Mrs. Joni Madara, Miss LuAnn Singer, Miss Linda Kinsey, and Miss Becky Germer. The best man was Michael Judge. Ring bearer was Shane Calaman and the gift receiver was Doug Miller. Others in attendance included; Scott Madara, Abram Koser, Gene Royer, Stephen Drace, and Mrs. Deb Mueller. . The bride wore a floor length gown of white polyester crepe over taffeta accented with venise lace trim. The gown featured a Queen Ann neckline, long full bishop sleeves, A-line skirt with flounce, empire waistline and attached cathedral-length train. Her cathedral-length ~~ mantilla was accented with matching scalloped lace and held by a venise lace Camelot cap. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses and miniature white carna- tions. Organist was Keith Smith. Soloist was Sharon Zimmerman. The reception was held at the Mount Joy American Legion Hall. The couple plans to settle in Mount Joy after their wedding trip to Virginia. Bride and groom are both graduates of Donegal High, and both are employed at AMP, Inc., Mount Joy. Model Airplane Club takes off in Marietta; will meet twice a week A model airplane club has been formed in Mari” etta. Anyone who is interest- ed in flying, building, or just talking about model airplanes is invited to join. : The group will be meeting twice a week in the basement of Bob’s Barber Shop, 347 E. Market St., Marietta; on Tuesdays at 7 PM, and on Saturdays at 9 PM. The club is affiliated with the National Acad- emy of Model Aeronau- tics. Welcome Wagon Club schedule The Mount Joy Welcome Wagon Club will officially start out the '77-’78 year on Wednesday, September 21st. The dinner meeting will be held at the Mount Joy Legion starting at 6:30 PM. After a short presenta- tion by the Library, and the business meeting, the evening will be strictly soc- ial. There will be an oppor- tunity to organize special interest groups as common interests are found. The night will be one of fun and friendship. Any member not contact- ed by Friday, Sept. 16th, should contact Doris Landers at 684-2771 over the weekend to make res- ervations for dinner.
