They are: Sherry Suter, Tina Miller, Joel Sherk, Carl Laudenslager, and John Gibble. For eight months these persons have been a part of the pastor’s class and have been in- structed in the Christian faith. They have indicated their personal faith in Jesus Christ and their willingness to take the solemn vows of the church. The confirmands will conduct the service. They will share a choric reading, “What It Is to Be a Christian,”” with the con- gregation. Maxine Maxwell and Cindy Peifer will sing ‘““Morning Has Broken.” During the confirmation ritual, the Chancel Choir will sing ‘““Lord, Make Me An Instrument of Thy Peace’ by Wetzler. Bruce Wagner will sing an offer- tory solo, ‘‘Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled’ by Reiff. The confirmands extend a cordial welcome to all to share in this’ special mo- ment of their lives.
