Mr. Zuch lives in South- ern California, where his sidecar-manufacturing plant is located. He came to Marietta last week to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Zuch of 200 Braves win over Cubs The Donegal Braves “‘D"’ Team really played some football Saturday morning as they finished their regular season. It was a very good day for Coaches Shank and Richards; it was a very good day for the team; it was a very good day for number 30; and it was a great day for the parents and fans. They played the E-Town Cubs at Elizabethtown with the Braves winning the toss and electing to receive. Mike Yohe caught the kick-off and gained about 3 yards, but Donegal couldn’t get its offense moving. The first half was to be domin- ated by the Cubs. They ended the first quarter with the score 8-0. Donegal’s Pat Turnpaugh caught a kick-off and ran the ball 25 yards. However, the Cubs defense came right back to stop the Braves and there was no first down. Neither side managed to score in the 2nd quarter. If the first half was dominated by the Cubs, the second half was owned by the Braves. Pat Turnpaugh kicked off for Donegal and recovered the ball on E-Town’'s fumble. Though the Braves failed to get a first down, their defense held the Cubs to no gained yardage with key tackles by Tony Oxford and Tom Gardner, and it was all over for the Cubs. The Braves’ Tyrone Smith, caught E-Town's punt and ran 10 yards.for a key first down on the East Market Street. The ‘“‘Thompson Cycle Car’’ uses a special mount which simplifies attaching and detaching the sidecar from the motorcycle. Ac- cording to Mr. Zuch, his sidecar converts a bike into a practical family machine ‘without compromising the feeling of independence and wind-in-the-face free- dom that is what motor- Braves 40 yard line. The next play saw Pat Turn- paugh break loose and ran the ball 60 yards for the Braves’ first touchdown. Much credit aiso belongs to a very strong Braves of- fense. Every player was in the right place at the right time, doing his job exceed- ingly well. Two extra points tied the score 8-8. The Cubs failed to make a first down with Donegal’s Mike Yohe and Ray Becker making important tackles for the defense. With the Braves once again in con- trol of the ball, their Christmas The Mount Joy Joycee- ettes Christmas Bazaar and food stand will be held Saturday, November 6th cycling is all about.” The sidecar is on sale at Suzuki Cyclery, Columbia. Designer Zuch may be contacted at P.O. Box 2, San Fernando, CA 91340. Mr. Zuch graduated from Marietta High Schoool and was trained as an aero- space engineer. He is married to the former Velma Cicero. They have S children. 16 — 8 offense went to work. After gaining two first downs with Smith and Turnpaugh carrying, Pat again broke away for a 25 yard run and another Donegal touch- down. The extra points were good and the final score was 16-8 in favor of the Donegal Braves. After two years of no wins the Donegal Braves “*D’’ Team ended the regular season with a 3-4-i record. Team effort, good coaching. and fan support were a winning combina- tion for the Braves “‘D” Team in 1976. bazaar Sat from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the St. Mark's Methodist Church in the fellowship hall, Mount Joy.
