976 September 22, 1976 Donegal stomps Columbia H.S. Donegal’s first TD Donegal routed Columbia 44-6 last Saturday on the Crimson Tide’s home terri- tory. Columbia’s only score came at the end of the game when both sides were letting their JVs carry the football. The hero of the hour was Pete Splain, who managed to score by; running the ball, kicking extra points, catching a pass in the end zone, and tackling a Col- umbia boy in his own end zone. Pete picked up plenty of yardage along the way. The only thing Splain didn’t do was pass. Quart- erback Kevin Bradley took photo by 8x10 Studio, Marietta care of that job. He passed 6 times, connected S times, and picked up 132 passing yards. Other Indian TDs were scored by Gainer, Emen- heiser, and Newlin.
