Cancer screening The Northwest Lancaster County Medical Association plans to conduct a free Hemocult Screening Pro- gram for early detection of colon and rectal cancer on Sunday, June 6, 1976 between 2 and 4 p.m. Interested persons can ob- tain kits from volunteers working in the lower level of the Association’s building, just off Route 230 between Elizabethtown and Mount Joy, on June 6. The volunteers will explain the contents of the test kits and instruct each person in its use. Cancer of the colon and rectum will strike 99,000 Americans this year, includ- ing 7,400 Pennsylvanians. This type of cancer occurs about equally in men and women, principally between the ages of 35 and 75. Over 49,000 Americans die of it annually... This mortality rate is unfortunate, since three out of four patients might be saved by early diagnosis and prompt treat- ment. For this reason the Northwest Lancaster County Medial Association in co- operation with the physi- cians in the Elizabethtown - Mount Joy area is conduct- ing this simple screening program which can be conducted by each patient in the privacy of his home. ™ g located 4 miles West of Eliza- SUSQUEHANNA TIMES - Page 9 “BEST QUALITY” COLORS ° PLUS WHITE INTERIOR LATEX FLAT ® 680 Decorator colors ® HIGH HIDING POWER ® Dries in one hour ® EASY CLEAN-UP WALL DECORATION 179 GALLON LIST PRICE $9.69 INTERIOR LATEX SATIN GLOSS ENAMEL ® 680 Match-making colors ip ® COLORFAST, WASHABLE ® Free of lead hazards GALLON @ SOAP 'N WATER clean-up LIST PRICE $10.99 ® Covers most colors with ONE EASY COAT ©® NON-YELLOWING finish ©® Ideal for CEILINGS ® No-mess clean-up INTERIOR LATEX ULTRA WHITE J GALLON LIST PRICE $10.19 American Hardware Ec. 8 MOUNT JOY LEGION [2 miles E. of Mt.
