On Sunday, May 9th, the con- gregation will observe the festival of the Christian Home during the 10:15 worship hour with the pastor preaching on the theme ‘‘Relationships that Really Matter.”’ May 16th will be Anniversary Sunday at which time nine members of the church will be cited for S0 years of affiliation with the local congregation. The message of the day will be “As the Years Go By.’ In the afternoon at 4 p.m., the four choirs of the church (Cherub, Celestial, Wesley, and Chancel) will give a Bicentennial Concert of all American Music-religious and secular. Sunday, May 23rd, will be Soil Steward- ship Sunday. Special em- phasis will be given to man’s responsibilities for the care of the earth. YOUTH GROUP OF FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH by Robert W. Mark The Youth Group of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Joy presented a play, “Only If You're Ready.” for Youth Sunday. Players in order ot appearance were: Dan Ober, Kay Pomroy, Dana Mark, Wendy Helwig, Kay Peters, Vaughn Mark and Cynthia Mackison. Music was provided by Rev. Stephen Getty. Prayer and scripture reading was by Dana Mark. Ushers were Mark Aldrich, Bryan Mark, Keith Pomroy, and Eric Tischler. MYAA meeting postponed I'he meeting of MYAA has been changed to Mon- dav, May 10 at 7:30. The flagpole in Maytown square was painted last week. The Donegal American Legion is painting the entire square for Memorial Day.
