Thome The Philadelphia Atoms of the North American Soccer League will be the featured team in an indoor soccer tournament held at Donegal High School on Saturday, March 20, at 8 p.m. Elizabethtown College, Philadelphia Textile and Lancaster Area will also participate. Among the many out- standing soccer players in the tournament will be the well-known field goal kicker of the Penn State football team, Chris Bahr. At half-time, elementary students will have an opportunity to attempt to score a goal against the ATOMS goal keeper, Alex Spector. Junior High students will have a similar opportunity. The only re- quirement in order to participate, will be to wear sneakers. The winner in each division will receive a soccer ball. The public is invited to attend. Tickets can be pur- chased from any Donegal soccer player or at the door on Saturday night. Debra Meckley joins academic honor group Debra M. Meckley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Meckley, 104 Marietta Street, Mount Joy, is one of fifty-one Lebanon Valley College students and eleven recent graduates who will be inducted into Phi Alpha Alpha Epsilon, LVC’s highest academic honor society, on March 23 in a ceremony to be held in Miller Chapel.
