Hoover, S7, of 1940 Edgemont Drive, East Petersburg, died at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital after an illness of five days. Born in Marietta, he was a son of Alice Fletcher Hoover, with whom he resided, and the late Jay E. Hoover. He served as a pharmacist mate in the Navy from 1941 to 1956 and then worked in the supply depot at New Cumberland from 1956 to 1963. A former member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, he was a member of East Petersburg Sports- man’s Association, the P.J. Bair Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7418, Gap, and American Legion Post 34. He is survived by his mother. WILLIAM COLLEGE William M. College, 70, of Waynesboro Road, Mount Joy R1, died Monday at 12:05 p.m., in Lancaster General Hospital after an illness of one year. Born in New German- town, Perry County, he was a son of the late George M. and Rhoda Stephens Col- lege. He was the husband of Mary Musser Gantz Col- lege. He lived for the past 56 years in the Mount Joy area and was retired from farm- ing in 1966. He was a member of the Mt.
