Hugh was a member of the Harveys Lake American Legion 967 and was a veteran of the Gulf War. Surviving are his brothers, Warren, Peachtree City, Ga.; and Jeff, Sweet Valley; nieces and nephews. BRACE - Martha Sylvia, 94, of Dallas, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Hospice Community Care, Wilkes Barre. She was born in Noxen and attended the Noxen High School. She was a member of the Kunkle United Methodist Church, The Joy Class, the United Methodist Women, the Church Choir and was a Sunday School teacher. Surviving are sons, Allen Richard, Dallas; Donald, Dallas; Dale, Laury Station; daughter, Wendy Crispell, Monroe Township; eight grand- children; three great- granddaughters; two great-great grandchil- ate of Noxen Township High School class of 1946 and Empire Beauty School. She helped man- age Midget Lake Farms with her husband until they sold the farm. She was a member of the Noxen United Methodist Church, Young Republican Club of Wyoming County, Yellow Rock Squares, and a 4-H leader.
