KOHLI WILL ATTEND LAROCHE COLLEGE Sara Kohli, a 201 graduate of Dallas High School, has accepted an invitation to attend La- Roche College in Pittsburgh to continue her academic and athletic career. SKUDALSKI SCORES 1000TH plan tourney The Penn State Wilkes- Barre Alumni Constituent Society will host its 16th Annual Penn State “Mas- ters” Golf Tournament on Friday, July 15 at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountain Top. The annual tournament raises money to support the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Alumni Society’s Scholar- ship Fund, the Student Mentor Program, Academic Excellence Awards and oth- er initiatives which help the students of Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Last year’s tournament hosted more than 130 gol- fers and the tees and greens were sponsored by various community businesses and friends of the campus, rais- ing more than $6,000 for student programs at the campus. This year’s winning flight Lauren Skudalski, of Wyoming, a recent graduate of Wyoming Seminary, was honored for scoring her 1,000th point as a for- ward on the girls basketball team. Skudalski reached the mile- stone during a post-season game against the Hanover Area Hawkeyes in which she scored 19 points. Her achievement was recognized during the school's winter athletic awards assembly.
