READERS RECOGNIZED AT DALLAS MIDDLE SCHOOL Top achievers in the Dallas Middle School's Accelerated Reader Program were recognized recently at the quarterly awards program. The Accelerated Reader Program allows students to select and read high-interest literature with an overall goal of fostering a love for reading. All students are required to read two books per quarter. Students take com- puter-based quizzes on each book completed and achieve points based on the number of books completed. Point lead- ers are recognized quarterly. At the end of the school year, building wide point leaders are rewarded and recognized. Shown here are the first quarter Accelerated Reader point leaders.
