The program will feature the Chorale and Madrigal Singers in a performance of the Mass of Christmas Eve by Char- pentier, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Placement test is set for Dec. 1 Holy Redeemer High School will offer its annual placement test at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the school on South Pennsylvania Boulevard in Wilkes-Barre. The test is intended for eighth-grade students currently attending private and public schools interested in attending Holy Redeemer as freshmen for the 2011-2012 school year. Jazz concert slated The Wyoming Seminary Wind Ensemble and Jazz En- semble will present a program of big band and concert band music at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at Wyoming Semi- nary’s Buckingham Performing RTT LT wl Arts Center, Sprague Avenue, Kingston. The 38-member Wind En- semble and the award-winning 18- member. Jazz Ensemble will perform music by Gustav Holst, Robert W. Smith, Woo- dy Herman, Don Sebesky and others.
