PAGE 10 THE DALLAS POST Sunday, June 6, 2010 CHINAKAYLO IS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT Aleona Chinakaylo, who graduated from Dallas High School on June 4, was one of two recip- ients of $500 book scholarships presented to students in the Back Mountain by the Dallas Lions Club. Chinakaylo is president and valedictorian of her senior class. She will attend Wilkes Uni- versity to prepare for a career in medicine, possibly as a specialist physician in the field of endocrinology. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Senior Steering Committee, serving as president of both. She has received department awards in math, science, English, social studies and Spanish and has received a Wilkes University Presidential Scholarship. While at Dallas High School, Chinakaylo played volleyball and track and field and was a mem- ber of the band and the Key Club. TOMASELLI IS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT Amanda Tomaselli, who graduated from Dallas High School on June 4, was one of twa recip- ients of $500 book scholarships presented to students in the Back Mountain by the Dallas Lions Club. Tomaselli has been accepted and plans to enroll at Misericordia University in the fall to prepare for a career in speech and language pathology. She received a Presidential Scholarship and McCawley Award from the University. ; She was a Girl Scout and a member of the St. Therese's Vacation Bible School, a member of the track and field hockey teams, Student Council where she served as treasurer and the Key Club.
